Sono passati 24 anni da quando il sisma del 1980 devastò l'Irpinia. In seguito la ricostruzione ne ha modificato profondamente la struttura topografica, lasciando che le rovine testimoniassero la tragedia come dei musei a cielo aperto. Immerse ormai da tempo in un ottuso silenzio, se si prova a camminare tra queste pietre si ha l'imbarazzante, ma inequivocabile sensazione di essere osservati. Esse sembrano reclamare una propria anima, e ora, immemori della presenza dell'uomo, paiono inorridire per una visita inattesa. L'uomo ha con sé una valigia e un'idea...

It has been 24 years since an earthquake devastated Irpinia in southern Italy. Subsequently, reconstruction of the area has profoundly changed the topographical structures, leaving the ruins to serve as testimony to the tragedy, like open-air museums. Immersed in a dull silence, anyone walking among the rocks has the embarrassing but unmistakable sensation of being observed. They seem to eerily claim their own soul and now, having forgotten the presence of man, seem horrified by an unexpected visit from a funny guy with a briefcase and a clue...
